Nature: The Best Medicine to calm the Soul

Dear Kindred Spirits, I hope this Day finds you in good health. Today I want to share with you something very near and dear to my heart. I want to share with you the wonders of nature and why I feel it is a remarkable way to recharge our weary souls. You see in our fast paced technology driven world it is easy to become overwhelmed by the demands and stresses of our Dailey Lives.  We find ourselves constantly connected, we are constantly bombarded with things like notifications, texts, e-mails, phone calls, and the endless amount of to do lists. It’s during these times we need to step back, take a deep breath and find a way to unplug. How do you do that you say.  Well it’s really quite simple. Get back to Nature.

Nature has a way of captivating our senses, and grounding us in the present. Whether it be the gentle rustling of the leaves in the wind, the soothing sound of the waves crashing on the shore, or the vibrant colors of the sunrises and sunsets in the sky’s, nature has a magical way to calm our racing minds, and bring us back to the state of tranquility. Our problems, all though still there, don’t seem as mountainous, nature teaches us humility and allows us to focus in the moment so that we can put things more into perspective. This will help to calm the mind so we can think more clearly.

Beyond its mental and emotional effects it also offers us physical rejuvenation. The fresh air invigorates your lungs, the sunshine gives us vitamin D, and the gentle exercise of walking releases endorphins that boost our mood for overall well being. Nature revitalizes us from the inside out. Oh and let’s not forget how it can open up your mind so creativity can flow.

so my kindred spirit, I implore  you to set aside sometime to go outside reconnect with Nature. Let it work some magic on you. Let it ,if even just for a moment, wash away your worries, inspire you creatively, and rejuvenate your spirit. . Remember Nature is one of those rare, true ,free things that is offered to everyone. So go ahead take a minute for yourself.  Don’t worry I promise you won’t miss a thing ,cause Unfortunately humanity will be waiting for you when you’re done.
